END OF YEAR REVIEW
An end of year review allows you to look back at the past year and reflect on what went well and what got in the way of your goals. 2020 is known as the year of the pandemic. It was a year filled with intense change, loss and uncertainty. Your reaction to these experiences provide information to help clear a path forward to help you enjoy life more fully and to thrive in everyday life.
To support your year end review and to clear your path for 2021, I recommend using Logosynthesis®, developed by Dr. Willem Lammers. I show you why and how it works in my new book: Thriving In Our Times: From Reactions To Action Using Logosynthesis®. In the book, I outline a guide to support the process. By following these five steps, you can begin to let go of resistance and enjoy more flow to feel connected to what is important in your life:
-
Connect with what is meaningful.
-
Identify what gets in the way.
-
Let go of what bothers you.
-
Design your action map.
-
Enjoy extraordinary living.
Everyday life can be busy and we can become stuck in repetitive patterns of behaviour based on past experiences and cultural beliefs and attitudes. We are often not even aware of how these patterns can get in the way of what brings meaning to our life. Our reactions in everyday life provide information to help us identify the blocks. We can use this information to identify and resolve the triggers so that we are better able to take meaningful action. From a position of calm and clarity, we are better able to see what resources we need and who can help us achieve our goals.
As we incorporate these steps into our everyday lives, we begin to feel the flow of extraordinary living. Rather than reacting to how we think life should be, we can act according to what is and clear our path to thrive in these times of change and uncertainty.
To get started right away, you can watch this guided exercise on the YouTube link below. I also share a YouTube playlist of conversations with an international group of coaches, counsellors and therapists. They describe why and how they use Logosynthesis® to support clients across the spectrum of healing trauma to supporting personal growth.
