How to enjoy extraordinary living

I love the feeling of extraordinary living! I love to share how you can experience the flow of extraordinary living using a simple and powerful model.

Five years ago, I was experiencing a really busy time in my life. I worked in sales for Kraft Foods. They were unexpectedly purchased by Heinz. David and I owned a small business. Although he operated the pharmacy, it created a busy time for both of us. Our daughters were active in sports and 4-H. I was main chauffeur and a parent volunteer. We loved getting together with family and friends and we casually entertained frequently.

Life was great but things were busy. At times, I lost my cool with my children. I admit that I got frustrated with my husband when he didn’t anticipate what I thought he should be doing. And I worked hard to manage the demands of work. Most of my friends were in similar situations. We were strong and capable and we could do it all. But we liked to be in control and things felt pretty intense at times.

I was very intrigued by the work of Willem Lammers. He had discovered Logosynthesis as a model to heal trauma and anxiety. I started using to help me feel calmer and more focused during this extraordinary time. I started training and learned from Willem and an international group of coaches, counsellors and therapists. I was amazed at the ease and grace of the work to heal trauma, relieve anxiety and grief, shift painful memories and resolve limiting beliefs. I am now a certified Practitioner and Instructor in Logosynthesis and I love to support others so they can experience the shift.

During the extraordinary times of the covid-19 pandemic, I am thankful that I had already invested in my personal development to train in Logosynthesis. I was able to enjoy time spent with my family. I was able to focus on what was important to me. I was able to feel calm while there was chaos in the world around me.

We all know the saying that there is no better time to start than the present. Maybe we are too busy. Maybe we don’t really need it. Maybe it is the people around us that need it. Our rational minds can easily convince us that we don’t need it.  Yet in our heart we know we are worth it!

I share my story in Logosynthesis: Enjoying Life More Fully (Caswell, 2017).
